Epidemiological indicators of acute respiratory infections (ARI) remained at a high level in primary care and hospital emergency departments, reflecting widespread circulation of ARI in French Guiana. It should be noted that public holidays during these two weeks of surveillance, combined with a vacation period, may have impacted our surveillance data.

Over the past two weeks (W52 and W01), the number of emergency room and CDPS visits for bronchiolitis in infants gradually decreased but remained at a high level: the outbreak has been ongoing for twelve weeks. At the same time, epidemiological indicators for influenza were moderate in emergency departments and primary care clinics: the influenza epidemic has been ongoing for five weeks. Finally, regarding COVID-19, the number of emergency department visits remained stable while the number of primary care clinic visits decreased: COVID-19 is circulating at a moderate level.
