Key Points

  • No emerging flu outbreaks have been observed in Lorraine or in mainland France

  • A steady increase over the past few weeks in the weekly number of diagnoses of diarrhea and gastroenteritis in emergency departments and private practice (SOS Médecin Meurthe-et-Moselle): the gastroenteritis outbreak is slowly taking hold in the region.

  • The bronchiolitis outbreak remains very active: the number of hospitalizations of children under two years of age increased further in week 52, but a decline is observed in primary care.
