Key points
Bronchiolitis
In emergency departments, the number of visits for bronchiolitis has remained stable for the fifth consecutive week. In week 06-2026, visits for bronchiolitis accounted for 12.4% of total activity. The number of consultations for bronchiolitis at SOS Médecins clinics, meanwhile, is declining and accounts for 5% of all consultations.
Flu and Flu-Like Illnesses
Although declining in both emergency departments and SOS Médecins clinics, the number of patients seeking care for flu-like symptoms remains high in week 06-2026 (2.8% of emergency department visits and 13.3% of consultations), justifying the region’s continued classification as being in an epidemic phase.
COVID-19
COVID-19-related activity remains low (less than 0.5% of emergency room visits and SOS Médecins consultations).
Acute Gastroenteritis
Emergency room visits and SOS Médecins consultations are fluctuating at levels typical for the season.
