Influenza
The region has been in the post-epidemic phase for influenza since week 09-2024.
OSCOUR®: The number of emergency room visits for flu-like symptoms, all ages, is decreasing (250 compared to 361 in week 08-2024); representing 1% of total activity.
SOS Médecins: The number of consultations for flu-like symptoms, all ages, is decreasing in week 09-2024 (438 consultations compared to 644 in week 08-2024); the flu-related activity share is 5.8%.
Bronchiolitis
The region emerged from the post-epidemic phase in week 03-24.
OSCOUR®: In week 09-2024, the proportion of activity related to bronchiolitis among children under 2 years of age in emergency departments remained stable (8.3%), as did the number of visits (129 visits).
SOS Médecins: The proportion of cases related to bronchiolitis among SOS Médecins associations has fluctuated since week 03-2024. In week 09-2024, it stood at 5.5%, corresponding to 31 consultations.
COVID-19
OSCOUR®: In week 09-2024, the number of emergency department visits for COVID-19 decreased compared to the previous week (19 visits versus 38 in week 08-2024), representing 0.1% of total activity.
SOS Médecins: In week 09-2024, the number of SOS Médecins consultations for COVID-19 remained stable compared to the previous week, with limited staffing (23 consultations compared to 22 in week 08-2024), representing 0.3% of the activity of SOS Médecins associations in the region.
Acute Gastroenteritis
OSCOUR®: The number of emergency room visits for gastroenteritis, across all age groups, remained generally stable in week 09-2024 compared to previous weeks. The share of activity was 1.4%, representing 330 visits.
SOS Médecins: The number of consultations for gastroenteritis decreased in week 09-2024 (528 consultations), as did the share of activity for this condition (7%).
