Flu

• OSCOUR®: The number of emergency room visits for flu-like symptoms, across all age groups, rose sharply in week 52 of 2023 compared to the previous week (550 visits versus 357 in week 51 of 2023), representing 2.1% of total activity.

• SOS Médecins: The number of consultations for flu-like symptoms, across all age groups, increased in week 52-2023 (980 consultations compared to 872 in week 50-2023); the share of activity attributed to the flu was 10.7%.

Bronchiolitis

• OSCOUR®: In week 52-2023, the proportion of activity related to bronchiolitis among children under 2 years of age in emergency departments continued to decline (17%), but the number of visits stabilized (375 visits). The proportion of hospitalizations for bronchiolitis among all hospitalizations following a visit to the emergency department for children under 2 years of age is 32%.

• SOS Médecins: In week 52 of 2023, the proportion of SOS Médecins’ activity related to bronchiolitis has stabilized. It stands at 7%, or 49 consultations.

COVID-19

• OSCOUR®: In week 52 of 2023, the number of emergency department visits for COVID-19 decreased compared to previous weeks (395 visits versus 430 in week 51 of 2023), representing 1.5% of total activity.

• SOS Médecins: In week 52-2023, the number of SOS Médecins consultations for COVID-19 decreased compared to the previous week (174 consultations versus 204 in week 51-2023), representing 1.9% of the activity of SOS Médecins associations in the region.

Acute Gastroenteritis

• OSCOUR®: The number of emergency department visits for gastroenteritis, across all age groups, rose sharply in week 52-2023 compared to previous weeks, particularly among people aged 15 and older. The share of activity is 1.9%, representing 491 consultations.

• SOS Médecins: The number of consultations for gastroenteritis across all age groups continues to rise in week 52 of 2023. The share of activity for this condition is 7.7%.
