Key Points

COVID-19

  • The incidence rate continues to decline in week 33 of 2022 (208 cases per 100,000 inhabitants compared to 264 in week 32 of 2022).

  • This decrease applies to all age groups. The highest incidence rates are observed among those aged 30–39 and 50–59 (2,566 cases and 248 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, respectively).

  • The positivity rate (21%) is declining in week 33 of 2022. It is increasing among those aged 0–9, stable among those aged 10–19, and decreasing in all other age groups.

  • The testing rate is decreasing in all age groups.

Monkeypox

  • As of August 23, 2022, 87 confirmed cases have been reported in the Grand Est region.
