Summary

In Week 08, there was an increase in outpatient visits for flu-like illness and emergency department visits for influenza across all age groups compared to the previous week. There have been numerous emergency department visits by adults aged 15 and older for pneumonia, dyspnea/respiratory failure, and pneumonia. Since the beginning of the year, the number of deaths in the region has been higher than the average for the same period in previous years.
