Epidemiological surveillance in the Lorraine region. Update as of November 7, 2013.

Key Findings

  • Flu activity is very low in hospital and prehospital emergency departments. In week 44, the incidence rate of flu-like illness consultations in the Unified Network remains well below the epidemic threshold.

  • Bronchiolitis activity remains low in the region and is comparable to what was observed last year during the same period.

  • Gastroenteritis activity is decreasing in hospital emergency departments, while an upward trend is observed for SOS-Médecins Meurthe-et-Moselle.

  • Since October 1, two cases of carbon monoxide poisoning have been reported to the surveillance system.
