The flu epidemic continues to decline in Lorraine during week 9. Flu-related activity in emergency departments and at the SOS Médecins association in Meurthe-et-Moselle has been decreasing over the past two weeks.
Data from the Unified Influenza Network show a decline in incidence in week 9 in the Lorraine region, and this trend is also observed in mainland France, where incidence is also decreasing.
According to data from the hospital laboratory network (Renal) and samples collected by physicians in the GROG Network, influenza viruses of types A(H1N1) pdm09, A(H3N2), and B continue to co-circulate.
The number of diagnoses of bronchiolitis among children under two years of age in emergency departments in Lorraine and reported by the SOS Médecins Association of Meurthe-et-Moselle has been decreasing for several weeks.
