Key Findings
After an increase in Week 23, the number of asthma diagnoses declined, both in hospitals and in private practice.
In Week 25, the number of allergy diagnoses made in hospitals reached its highest level since the beginning of the year and remains at a high level in Week 26. In private practice, after a sharp peak in Week 23, the number of allergy diagnoses has dropped significantly over the past two weeks.
According to the alert map from the National Aerobiological Surveillance Network (RNSA), the entire Lorraine region is at high risk for grass pollen allergies for the period from June 28 to July 5, 2013.
