COVID-19: Epidemiological Update for the Grand Est Region as of August 12, 2021

In the Grand Est region, the number of new cases stabilized in week 31 of 2021 (7,271 compared to 7,188 in week 30 of 2021), as did the number of people tested (260,820 in week 31 of 2021 compared to 263,719 in week 30 of 2021). Thus, the incidence rate remains stable at 131.9 new cases per 100,000 inhabitants and continues to exceed the threshold for active virus circulation (set at 50 per 100,000 inhabitants). The positivity rate is also stable (2.8% compared to 2.7% in week 30 of 2021).
