COVID-19

In Week 38, the number of SOS Médecins consultations and the number of hospital emergency department visits for COVID-19 remained stable.
Meanwhile, the incidence rate is rising and the positivity rate is stable. The number of acute respiratory infection (ARI) episodes in the ESMS is also on the rise. The number of COVID-19 deaths, however, is declining.

Other regional surveillance

  • Gastroenteritis and acute diarrhea:

    • SOS Médecins: low activity, stable

    • Hospital emergency departments: low activity, decreasing

  • Chickenpox: activity rising at SOS Médecins and stable in hospital emergency departments.

  • Allergies: activity decreasing at SOS Médecins and in hospital emergency departments.

  • Asthma (ages 2–14): activity decreasing at SOS Médecins and stable in hospital emergency departments.

  • Heat-related illnesses: activity declining at SOS Médecins and in hospital emergency rooms.
