COVID-19

  • In Week 43, for the second consecutive week, the spread of SARS-CoV-2 slowed in the region; this slowdown was observed throughout the territory and was accompanied by a decrease in new hospitalizations.

  • Incidence rate (IR) and positivity rate (PR) from TAG data are decreasing.

  • The BA.5 sublineage has been stable and predominant since week 24; the proportion of the new BQ1.1 sublineage among sequenced tests has stabilized.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Activity remains stable at SOS Médecins and hospital emergency departments.

Monkeypox

  • 42 cases of Monkeypox have been identified in the Centre-Val de Loire region as of 11/02/22.

Bronchiolitis

  • Third week of the outbreak: activity remains stable at SOS Médecins and is on the rise in hospital emergency departments among children under 2 years of age.

Influenza

  • Activity is decreasing at SOS Médecins and increasing in hospital emergency departments.
