Key Points

COVID-19

  • In Week 45, for the fourth consecutive week, the spread of SARS-CoV-2 slowed in the region. However, a slight increase in hospitalizations and admissions to intensive care units was observed.

  • Positivity rates and incidence rates from rapid antigen tests (TAG) are slightly down.

  • The BA.5 sublineage has been stable and predominant since week S24; there has been an increase in the proportion of the new BQ1.1 sublineage among sequenced tests.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Activity remains stable at SOS Médecins and is slightly increasing in hospital emergency departments.

Monkeypox

  • 42 cases have been identified in the Centre-Val de Loire region as of 11/15/22.

Bronchiolitis

  • 5th week of the outbreak: activity is decreasing in hospital emergency departments and increasing at SOS Médecins.

Influenza and influenza-like illness

  • Activity is increasing at SOS Médecins and stable in hospital emergency departments.
