COVID-19

  • In Week 44, the incidence rate rose (+19% compared to the previous week), the positivity rate increased, and the testing rate stabilized. There was a sharp rise in incidence in Indre-et-Loire.

  • Among the tests screened in the region, none showed the E484K mutation, 0.2% showed the E484Q mutation, and 98.0% showed the L452R mutation

  • Increase in emergency room visits for suspected COVID-19 and SOS Médecins calls for suspected COVID-19

  • Increase in critical care admissions and new hospitalizations.

  • Slight increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in ESMS

Bronchiolitis

In week 44, activity related to bronchiolitis was on the rise at SOS Médecins and slightly down in hospital emergency departments.

Gastroenteritis

In week 44, activity related to gastroenteritis was moderate and declining at SOS Médecins; moderate and increasing in hospital emergency departments.

Influenza

In week 44, activity related to influenza-like illnesses was slightly down at SOS Médecins and in hospital emergency departments.
