Key Points

COVID-19

  • In Week 44, for the third consecutive week, the spread of SARS-CoV-2 slowed in the region; this slowdown was observed throughout the territory and was accompanied by a decrease in new hospitalizations.

  • Positivity rates (PR) from rapid antigen tests (RATs) rose slightly; incidence rates (IR) from RATs decreased

  • The BA.5 sublineage has been stable and predominant since week 24; an increase in the proportion of the new BQ1.1 sublineage among sequenced tests.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • In week 44, activity related to gastroenteritis was stable at SOS Médecins and declining in hospital emergency departments

Monkeypox

  • As of November 10, 2022, 42 cases of Monkeypox have been identified in the Centre-Val de Loire region

Bronchiolitis

  • 4th week of the outbreak: activity on the rise in hospital emergency departments and stable at SOS Médecins.

Influenza

  • Activity is increasing at SOS Médecins and decreasing in hospital emergency departments
