In Week 52, SARS-CoV-2 circulation was sharply declining in the Centre-Val de Loire region. Virological indicators were down, as were new hospitalizations, admissions to intensive care, emergency room visits, SOS Médecins calls, and COVID-19 deaths.

  • Positivity rate (PR) and incidence rate (IR) on the decline

  • The BA.5 sublineage has been stable and predominant since Week 24; among sequenced tests, the BQ1.1 sublineage has been predominant since Week 44 (67% in Week 50)

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Activity is increasing at SOS Médecins and decreasing in hospital emergency departments

Bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age

  • 12th week of the epidemic

  • Activity stable at SOS Médecins and in hospital emergency departments

Influenza and influenza-like illness

  • 5th week of the epidemic

  • Activity is increasing at SOS Médecins and decreasing in hospital emergency departments
