Key Points

COVID-19

  • Worsening of the epidemic situation. Increase in the incidence rate (IR), testing rate (TR), and positivity rate (PR). The regional (unadjusted) IR rose from 439 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 48 to 556 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 49. The IR is rising in all four departments. Sharp increase in the prevalence of general care hospitalizations and critical care hospitalizations, in visits to hospital emergency rooms, and in calls to SOS Médecins.

Bronchiolitis

  • Epidemic activity.

  • Decrease in emergency department visits for the first week (awaiting confirmation in S50 for a possible peak). Stable RSV viral circulation.

Influenza

  • Epidemic activity, rising phase.

  • Very sharp increase in SOS Médecins consultations and emergency room visits.

  • Continued circulation of influenza A virus. Sporadic detection of influenza B virus.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Low activity.

  • Stabilization in the number of emergency room visits and a slight decrease in monitored SOS Médecins indicators compared to the previous week.
