Key Points

COVID-19

Regional level:

  • Increase in the incidence rate (particularly among 15- to 24-year-olds) and the positivity rate;

  • Hospital indicators remain stable;

  • Continued rise in viruses carrying the L452R mutation, which are becoming the dominant strain.

Departmental level:

  • Increase in the incidence rate and positivity rate in all departments.

  • Three departments have exceeded the threshold of 50 cases per 100,000 inhabitants: Jura, Territoire de Belfort, and Côte-d’Or.

  • With the resurgence of the epidemic, it is essential to maintain a high level of adherence to individual prevention measures, testing, and isolation of cases and contacts. It is also essential to encourage vaccination among the entire eligible population.
