  • Although longer in duration than in the two previous seasons, the characteristics of the epidemic in terms of healthcare utilization (age distribution, proportion of cases, and hospitalization rate) are similar to those of the last two seasons.

  • A review of the 2016–2017 epidemic will be conducted shortly.
