Situation in Rhône-Alpes

• Acute Diarrhea / GastroenteritisOver the past two weeks, the Sentinelles network has observed what is considered low activity in medical consultations for acute diarrhea. During this period, only the SOS Médecins associations continued to monitor a significant number of gastroenteritis diagnoses.

• ChickenpoxIn Rhône-Alpes, the Sentinelles network reports that activity, which was still considered moderate in week 43 (October 22–28), became high in week 44 (October 29–November 3), with an incidence rate of 52 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

• Bronchiolitis: The first cases appeared in early October, and the spread of the epidemic is currently increasing very rapidly. This phenomenon is being observed jointly by emergency departments and SOS Médecins associations. The active circulation of RSV in our region is likely contributing to its spread.
