Situation Analysis

All epidemiological indicators for the first two weeks of May show that the dengue epidemic remains active in the territory. While the number of biologically confirmed cases and the number of emergency room visits are trending downward, the number of clinically suggestive cases consulting general practitioners remains high.The epidemiological situation in Saint Barthélemy therefore remains that of a confirmed outbreak, without any particular severity, and corresponds to Phase 3 of the Psage.
