Situation Analysis
Since November 2012, five isolated dengue outbreaks have been detected in Guadeloupe, most frequently on Grande Terre. Serotype surveillance indicates that over the past four months, all four serotypes have circulated, with no evidence of any one serotype predominating. The Expert Committee on Infectious and Emerging Diseases, which met on January 17, 2013, assesses that this situation corresponds to Phase 2, Level 1 of the Dengue Psage: Phase of isolated outbreaks.
