Epidemiological Situation of Dengue Fever in Martinique. Update as of July 4, 2013.

Situation Analysis

Across the department, epidemiological surveillance indicators for dengue are on the rise, with confirmed cases and the positivity rate exceeding the expected seasonal peaks in week 26. The dengue outbreak in the municipality of Trinité remains active, and three new outbreaks have emerged more recently (two in St. Joseph and one in Fort-de-France). Vector control measures are underway. The epidemiological situation of dengue in Martinique corresponds to Phase 2, Level 1 of the PSAGE dengue protocol: isolated outbreak(s).
