Dengue Surveillance in Martinique. Update as of January 17, 2020.

Epidemiological Situation

Epidemiological surveillance data on dengue fever for the first two weeks of January 2020 show that the virus is still circulating in Martinique: 68% of municipalities are affected and have reported biologically confirmed cases. After a period of relative stability due to the end-of-year holidays, the trend is toward an increase and a resurgence in visits to private practices, though not yet reaching the levels observed in early December 2019.
The Technical Committee for Dengue Monitoring met on January 16, 2019, to analyze the situation. It recommended maintaining Phase 3 of the PSAGE: Epidemic Risk.
