Epidemiological Situation
Guadeloupe: After stable circulation of the virus at moderate levels since early April, surveillance indicators have been declining over the past four weeks. No new outbreaks have been reported. However, the epidemic continues, and serotype 2 remains the predominant circulating serotype.
Saint Martin: The epidemic has continued in recent weeks at moderate to low levels. No new outbreaks have been reported. The predominant circulating serotype is serotype 1.
Saint Barthélemy: Surveillance indicators have been at high levels since late April. Numerous
outbreaks have been reported across the island. The epidemiological situation corresponds to an epidemic. Serotype 2 remains the predominant circulating serotype. The transition to Phase 3 (“epidemic phase”) was approved by the management committee, which met on July 16.
