Key points

Guadeloupe and Martinique

  • In Phase 4, Level 1 of the PSAGE* dengue alert system: confirmed epidemic.

Dengue activity in both urban areas and hospitals has been stable since late February, though levels remain high. This indicates that dengue transmission is still active in these territories and underscores the need to further strengthen individual and community prevention measures. The DENV-2 serotype is the most commonly identified.

Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin

  • Return to normal according to the PSAGE Dengue.

Following consultation with members of the respective Technical Committees for Dengue Monitoring during weeks 2024-11 and 2024-12, Santé publique France considers that the epidemiological situation regarding dengue now corresponds to a return to normal in these territories. The DENV-2 serotype remains the most commonly identified.
