Situation Analysis
The number of bronchiolitis cases seen in general practice exceeded the expected seasonal peak starting in the third week of September (week 2012-38). This increase continued until the epidemic peaked during the second week of October (2012-41), with an estimated 180 cases. This number then declined until the second week of November and subsequently stabilized. For the past three weeks, it has remained below the maximum expected values for the season.
