Early prenatal care in Martinique: supporting pregnant women and their families.

Early prenatal counseling (EPP) is an in-depth medical and psychosocial consultation with expectant parents. Despite efforts made in Martinique in recent years, in 2016 only 17% of pregnant women received this counseling. The perinatal network and other stakeholders have implemented an action plan to ensure that more women benefit from this counseling.
