Chikungunya, Dengue, and Zika
- Since May 1, 2026, 84 imported cases of dengue, 18 imported cases of chikungunya, and 1 imported case of Zika have been identified and investigated in Île-de-France (compared to 162 imported cases of dengue and 164 imported cases of chikungunya during the same period in 2025).
- In the Île-de-France region, the first case of local transmission of chikungunya was identified in Nogent-sur-Marne in the Val-de-Marne department.
West Nile Virus Infections
- As of August 24, 206, eight locally acquired human cases of West Nile virus (WNV) infection were
identified in the Île-de-France region: three in Essonne, two in Seine-Saint-Denis, one in Val-de-Marne, 1 in Val-d’Oise, and 1 in Seine-et-Marne (the first case detected in that department).
