From August 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026:
- In the Hauts-de-France region, six outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) have been confirmed, spread across the departments of Nord, Pas-de-Calais, and Somme.
- Around these outbreaks, 59 exposed individuals were identified.
- Of the 59 exposed individuals, 28 were tested (47%), and all test results were negative.
- No human cases were detected.
