Physicians' Prescriptions for Physical Activity: Barriers and Enablers
In 2021, the National Cancer Institute (INCa) conducted two surveys: a quantitative, representative survey of 200 general practitioners to assess their prescribing practices, and a qualitative survey of 16 general practitioners to analyze the barriers and enablers in prescribing physical activity. What is the current state of prescribing practices in France? An examination of physicians’ attitudes toward promoting physical activity and an identification of the factors that encourage or limit the prescription of physical activity during patient consultations.
