The observed level is moderately higher than that of the previous three years during the same period. The proportion of hospitalizations following emergency room visits remains down at 16%.

• Nationally, two weeks before the start of the school year in mainland France, emergency department visits for asthma among children under 15 remained stable (+3.4%, or 21 more visits) and declined in the SOS Médecins network (-21%, or 28 fewer visits). The proportion of hospitalizations following emergency department visits remained stable at 23%.
