Week 38 (September 15–21, 2025):

• In the Indian Ocean region, during Week 38—the fifth week of the school year in Réunion—the number of emergency department visits for asthma among children under 15 decreased compared to Week 37. The proportion of cases remained stable (6.2% in Week 38 vs. 5.7% in Week 37) and is at a level comparable to that of previous years.

• Nationally, in Week 38—the third week of the school year in mainland France, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, and Martinique—visits for asthma among children under 15 remained stable in emergency departments and at SOS Médecins clinics compared to the previous week. Activity shares were also stable in both networks, at levels comparable to those of previous years.
