• In the Indian Ocean region, during the 6th week of school in Réunion and the 7th week in Mayotte, emergency room visits for asthma remained stable among children under 15 (83 vs. 81 visits in Week 39), as did the proportion of hospitalizations following a visit (30% in Weeks 39 and 40).

• Nationally, during the 5th week of the school year in mainland France, asthma-related visits among children under 15 were down in both networks (-10% in emergency departments and -12% at SOS Médecins). The proportion of hospitalizations following an emergency department visit remained stable at 26% (vs. 27% in Week 39).
