Chlamydia trachomatis Infections in France in 2003: Data from the Rénachla Network. National Surveillance of Infectious Diseases, 2001–2003

Key points: - emergence of lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV): 11 cases identified in 2003 in Renachla; - increase in the number of microbiological diagnoses of Chlamydia trachomatis infection from 2001 to 2003 (+10.7%); - increase in the percentage of positive samples; - increase in the proportion of asymptomatic individuals among those tested in public laboratories.
