Healthcare-associated infections, antibiotic resistance, and antibiotic use: data from the Raisin surveillance networks

From 2001 to 2017, the Network for the Alert, Investigation, and Surveillance of Nosocomial Infections (RAISIN; see box below) coordinated the surveillance of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) in France through several surveillance networks and ad hoc surveys (national prevalence surveys). This document summarizes key findings from the most recent available data (2015 or 2016) from the five surveillance networks coordinated at that time by RAISIN.
