This national epidemiological report includes cases involving carbapenem-resistant bacteria (CRB) reported in mainland France and the overseas territories by healthcare facilities through the nosocomial infection reporting system (IN), or reported directly by the regional health agencies (ARS) or the National Reference Center (CNR) to Santé publique France, for which carbapenemase production has been confirmed and characterized.
