A marked increase in incidence (+54%), greater than the increase in the number of people tested
Increase in incidence across all age groups, particularly among those aged 20–30
Increase in the number of new hospitalizations for COVID-19, but stable use of emergency care
19 departments with an incidence rate > 10 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 30− Mayenne: 143 per 100,000 inhabitants, high vulnerability level (increasing incidence, very high testing activity, stable positivity rate, 2 clusters with community transmission)− 17 other departments with incidence rates between 10 and 20 per 100,000 inhabitants, and Val d’Oise: 20.5 per 100,000 inhabitants
7 departments at moderate risk and 3 departments at high risk
Increase in the number of new clusters since early July
In French Guiana and Mayotte: continued high levels of viral circulation
Decrease in the consistent adoption of preventive measures (maintaining a distance of at least 1 m, greeting without shaking hands, avoiding hugs), but more consistent mask-wearing in public
