Prevention
Vaccination as of June 29, 2021:
General population: 33% fully vaccinated (50% with one dose)
Residents in nursing homes or long-term care facilities: 82% fully vaccinated (89% with one dose)
Vaccine efficacy against symptomatic COVID-19 in people aged 50 and older:
First dose: 45.7% (all vaccines combined)
Full vaccination series: 84.2% (all vaccines combined)
Challenges in promoting vaccination among the entire eligible population amid the spread of the Delta variant
Continued decline in indicators tracking transmission chains
Importance of contact tracing to limit the spread of SARS-CoV-2
Need to maintain adherence to preventive measures and limit high-risk contacts
If symptoms develop, immediate isolation is required, and a test must be performed as soon as possible
