Social Inequalities in Health: Lessons from the COVID-19 Crisis [Introduction to the Report]

The COVID-19 pandemic in France has not affected all regions and individuals in the same way, revealing social and regional health inequalities that often predated the crisis. Numerous studies have shown that the impact of the pandemic varied across the population based on geographic origin, socioeconomic status, age, and gender. This issue of La Santé en action compiles and compares published research on the health crisis, illustrating the social divide thus revealed.
