“Before an emergency, there is vigilance” [Interview]

The Agricultural Sentinel program, led by the Mutualité sociale agricole (MSA), trains volunteers from rural communities to identify, listen to, and refer farmers in distress. With 8,900 trained sentinels, the network forms a nationwide network dedicated to suicide prevention. Puget-Théniers (Alpes-Maritimes) is a sentinel village that is particularly active in this effort.
