2003 Health Survey of Physicians and Pharmacists.

For the first time since the Health Barometer was established, the survey of general practitioners was conducted in conjunction with that of community pharmacists, and the results are presented in a single publication. This Health Barometer provides information on the personal health opinions and behaviors of private general practitioners and community pharmacists: tobacco and alcohol use, vaccination, screening, condom use, etc. It also provides insights into how these professionals perceive their role in prevention and their activities in this area, particularly regarding vaccination, contraception, HIV and STIs, screening for hepatitis C and cancers, the care of patients with tobacco or alcohol dependence, drug-dependent patients, and the prescription or dispensing of generic medications.
