Identification of barriers to screening and care for patients infected with the hepatitis C virus: the Gymkhana 1 study, France, December 9–12, 2002

Despite campaigns encouraging screening for hepatitis C virus (HCV), HCV infection remains underdiagnosed, and its clinical and therapeutic management is suboptimal. The authors seek to identify the barriers to screening and management. (R.A.)
