Key Points

Acute respiratory infections (ARI)

  • Decreased activity across all age groups, both in the community and in hospitals. Low intensity.

Influenza

  • Decreased healthcare utilization across all age groups, both in the community and in hospitals. In mainland France, all regions have returned to baseline levels, except for Corsica, which is in the post-epidemic phase. In the overseas territories, the Antilles are still in the epidemic phase, French Guiana and Mayotte are in the post-epidemic phase, and Réunion is at baseline levels.

Bronchiolitis

  • Syndromic indicators are decreasing in outpatient settings and stable in hospitals. In mainland France, 4 regions are in the post-epidemic phase and 9 are at baseline levels. The epidemic continues in Mayotte, while Martinique and Guadeloupe are in the post-epidemic phase.

COVID-19

  • Syndromic indicators are generally stable and at low levels. The SARS-CoV-2 monitoring indicator in wastewater is decreasing.
