The incidence rate of acute diarrhea reported by the Sentinelles network has stabilized following a sharp increase observed over the past several weeks. This rate remains low compared to those typically observed during seasons prior to 2019–2020.
The proportion of AAD-related visits to SOS Médecins has stabilized following the increase observed over the past several weeks. It remains comparable to the 2021-2022 season but is low compared to rates observed during pre-COVID seasons at the same time of year.
The proportion of emergency room visits for GEA remains at low levels, similar to the 2020-2021 season, and lower than the 2021-2022 season for this time of year.
Vaccination of infants against rotavirus is now recommended in France to protect them against gastroenteritis caused by these viruses.
