PestiRiv: Study of pesticide exposure among residents living near wine-growing and non-wine-growing areas. Protocol.

Santé publique France and ANSES are conducting the PestiRiv study, whose primary objective is to determine whether there is a difference in pesticide exposure between people living near vineyards and those living far from any agricultural land. This study will provide a better understanding of the sources of such exposure in order to reduce it. This document and its appendix present the PestiRiv study protocol, its questionnaires, the organization of home visits, the method for collecting urine and dust samples, etc. Contents: the context and rationale for the study, its objectives, implementation method, processing of personal data, regulatory aspects, statistical analyses, planned communication and dissemination of results, and the study timeline.
