This thesaurus—a standardized and structured list of terms to be used for indexing documents and searching databases that have been indexed using this vocabulary—covers all the concepts needed to describe the content of documents in the field of health education. It is intended to harmonize documentation practices within institutions and to facilitate the sharing of information among health education stakeholders. It comprises 2,055 descriptors and 985 non-descriptors, organized into 59 micro-thesauri.
