Discover Santé publique France’s key priorities, its plans for the coming years, its responses to major public health challenges, and the goals it has set to improve the health of the French population and reduce social and regional inequalities.

The twenty-seven programs presented in the Strategy 2022 document combine both strategic and operational objectives. They are rooted in a regional context and are designed for the long term.

In accordance with the principles of independence and transparency that underpin the agency, it develops its programming based on public health plans and strategies, as well as the objectives and performance contract established with the Ministry of Solidarity and Health. To this end, the agency conducts epidemiological monitoring and surveillance, implements prevention and health promotion initiatives, produces indicators and collective, pluralistic expert analyses… It also looks to the future by designing tools and systems to address upcoming public health challenges.
