The Department of Health and Environment (DSE) at the French Institute for Public Health Surveillance (InVS) produces a wide range of scientific studies, the results of which are disseminated to a diverse audience. This guide provides an overview of best practices, guidance on selecting the most appropriate visual representation method, and an introduction to new possibilities for data representation and visualization. It aims to standardize and enhance the presentation—whether graphical or not—of the data and results produced by the DSE, in order to make them more informative and accessible, to tailor them as effectively as possible to their target audiences, and thereby facilitate their use by the InVS’s key partners.
